Role Overview:
You will be joining as a Treasury Risk Manager in India, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing a strong second line of defence across the Treasury function.
Your responsibilities will include supporting senior colleagues in understanding, overseeing, challenging, and enforcing appropriate risk mitigation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the functions activities comply with the risk appetite and risk management standards by developing and delivering a suite of risk metrics that capture funding and liquidity risk managed by Treasury.
• Engage with central Risk functions to understand their requirements and strategic developments.
• Stay updated with the regulatory environment and assist in assessing or implementing changes in the risk management framework.
• Maintain, document, and monitor the organizations policies and approach for the area of risk.
• Collaborate with team members to review, perform calculations, provide analysis, and present commentary to stakeholders.
• Conduct risk reverse stress tests and ad hoc risk scenario sensitivities.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong and relevant financial experience in a risk or finance function.
• Good understanding of market risk with actuarial science knowledge and technical knowledge of risk frameworks.
• Financial or risk qualification such as CFA, FIA, or FRM.
• Degree level education in a numerate subject with a good understanding of financial mathematics.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or VBA for building, reviewing, and maintaining analytical tools, risk models, and automated processes.
• Experience in valuation methodologies across a broad range of derivative products.
• Solid understanding of Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), and Model Risk concepts and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading teams and providing coaching, oversight, and direction.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver cross-functional projects.
• Strong relationship-building skills across different departments and external partners.
• Understanding of stress testing, ICAAP, and strong systems knowledge.
