Job Description
Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor
• s) or graduate/second-level degree (e.g. MBA, Master
• s) with an emphasis in finance, economics, accounting, math, or related quantitative field preferred.CFA, FRM in progress or equivalent highly desirable.2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent financial spreading skills.
Excellent Excel skills.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantitative Analyst should have:
Interpret statutory and regulatory filings (SFCR, QRTs, NAIC, Annual Reports) for P&C, Life, and Reinsurance entities.
Spread financials into standard templates (BS, IS, CF, solvency ratios) with accuracy and speed.
Apply insurance-specific adjustments: technical reserves, policy liabilities, reinsurance recoverables, DAC movements, and investment classifications.
Work across IFRS, IFRS 17, US-GAAP, STAT, and understand core solvency frameworks (Solvency II, RBC).
Identify anomalies, restatements, and data gaps using footnotes, MD&A, and disclosures.
Collaborate with ontology and product teams to refine mapping rules and improve data quality.
