Job description
Investment Banking Associates: US Boutique (Remote, India-based)
Concordia is a US-based boutique investment bank and investment firm focused on M&A;, capital raising, and direct investments across emerging software, consumer, industrial, and services businesses.
We're affiliated with Kingswood Capital, a $15B AUM asset manager.
We're hiring 2 to 3 analysts and associates to build out our India team, which will be execution-focused, supporting our live mandates across deal execution and outreach research.
What you'll actually do
We are only looking for analysts/associates in our investment banking group
You'll work directly with the founder and senior team, not in a back office, not on a project queue.
The role splits roughly in half between sector-specific outreach research and quality control on junior deliverables.
On the research side, you'll build deeply customized prospect research for targeted campaigns into sectors we know well.
This is research that requires judgment and context, not list-spam.
You'll be deciding what makes a prospect actually worth pitching and what hook gets the meeting.
You'll review models, decks, CIMs, and buyer lists from our interns and junior team before they move up the chain.
You're the last line of defense before work reaches senior bankers and clients.
Across both functions, you'll also support live mandates directly by building financial models, drafting sections of CIMs, researching buyer and investor landscapes, and helping us close deals.
Who we're looking for
We want 1 to 4 years of experience at an Indian investment bank such as Avendus, Edelweiss, Spark, Anand Rathi, Veda, Equirus, JM Financial, or ICICI Securities, or the India office of a bulge-bracket like Goldman, Morgan Stanley, JPM, BofA, Evercore, or Citi, or a Big-4 transaction advisory team at PwC, EY-Parthenon, KPMG, or Deloitte.
Robust financial modeling fundamentals are essential, specifically three-statement operating models, DCFs, and comp analysis.
