As part of the next phase of growth, M20 Urban Spaces is expanding into Family Strategy & Wealth Management, with a strategic focus on establishing and scaling businesses in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), and related financial services platforms.
Role Overview:
The Chief of Staff
• Investments & Wealth Strategy will work closely with the Founder & CEO to establish and scale the Group's Family Office and Wealth Advisory platform.
During the initial phase the role will focus on researching, evaluating, structuring, and recommending investment opportunities, funds, and financial solutions available in the market for prospective clients and family office participants.
The role-holder will help build operating frameworks, partnerships, client engagement models, and investment evaluation capabilities.
As the platform evolves, the individual will play an active role in identifying opportunities for developing proprietary investment products, structures, and platforms under the Mohan Mutha Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Building:
• Partner with the Founder to establish and scale the Group's Family Office and Wealth Advisory platform.
• Evaluate and curate investment opportunities across public markets, private markets, real estate, alternative investments, and structured products.
• Build relationships with wealth managers, fund houses, investment banks, private equity firms, AIFs, and other financial institutions.
• Develop clientacquisition, engagement, and servicing frameworks for family office clients.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and due diligence on investment products and solutions.
• Support the design of future proprietary investment offerings and platforms as the business scales.
Operationalization & Execution:
• Build the operating model, governance framework, and execution roadmap for the Family
Office and Wealth Advisory platform.
• Establish partnerships with financial institutions, wealth managers, fund houses, and
investment platforms.
• Coordinate with external advisors (legal, compliance, tax, and regulatory) and internal
Stakeholders.
• Support branding, client acquisition strategy, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop reporting, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
Investment Strategy Support:
• Assist in evaluating co-investment opportunities and building a deal pipeline.
• Work with financial advisors and analysts to screen and model deals.
• Structure investment vehicles and participate in deal execution and fundraise initiative.
Team Building & Culture:
Drive the hiring and onboarding of key team members, advisors, and strategic partners as the Family Office and Wealth Advisory platform scales.
• Establish performance culture, operating rhythms, and team synergies.
• Group-Level Strategic Support
• Contribute to strategic initiatives in the Real Estate business and Family Business Consulting vertical.
• Ensure alignment of strategy and operations across businesses.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and investor communication for the Founder.
Executive Office Management:
Coordinate high-level internal and external meetings, follow-ups, and strategic communication.
• Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• MBA or master’s in finance, Strategy, or related field.
• Charted Accountant preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in Family Offices, WealthManagement, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Investment Advisory, or financial services
venture building.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, capital markets, and regulatory
frameworks (SEBI, RBI, AIF, REIT).
• Experience inbuilding, scaling, or operating investment, wealth management, family
office, or advisory platforms.
• Experience with real estate investments and family office structures is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, market analysis, and pitch creation.
• Familiarity with fund structuring, term sheets, and investor relations.
