About the Role
The Analyst, Regional Treasury AMEA will have a multi-faceted role whereby the execution of core treasury tasks is coupled with other value-added activities to support a wide range of stakeholders to achieve key deliverables like working capital management across the AMEA region; all in order to drive sustainable growth of the company.
The role reports directly into the Head of Treasury AMEA.
Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Risk Management: Provide indirect support to the Group’s Inhouse Bank and direct support to regional group entities.
Foreign Exchange Risk Management: Manage FX risk directly for Singaporean entities and indirectly for regional entities (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Dubai, South Africa and Morocco).
Responsibilities include analyzing FX exposures/results and actively managing FX risks (identification, execution, confirmation, and reconciliation).
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver key initiatives such as working capital reduction and FX management best practices.
Bank Relationship Management: Support the Head of Treasury AMEA in maintaining continuous dialogue with external stakeholders and financial service providers.
Compliance & Risk Support: Provide regional support for compliance, regulatory requirements, insurance, and credit control functions.KYC Onboarding: Take ownership of Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding processes with financial institutions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Qualifications
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similarFascinating role in a multinational contextOutward-looking: interaction across various departments and functional domainsUnderstanding of core finance & accounting principles (GL, AP, AR, Cost/Profit Centers, etc.).
At least 7 years of relevant business experience, preferably with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in treasury risk management
Experience with highly regulated markets like China, India, and/or Indonesia is an assetEffective communication skills, ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders in other functional domainsFlexible and stress-resistantProactive, results-oriented team-player
Required Skills
At least 7 years of relevant business experience, preferably with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in treasury risk management
