It is for exceptionally motivated and smart individuals who want the opportunity to build a career in technology investment banking in two of the world’s largest and fastest growing technology markets of SE Asia and India. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As an Associate, you will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team and involved in projects across APAC region that may include, but are not limited to: Supporting end-to-end deal execution for our private placement, M&A and/or strategic financial advisory mandatesPerform full financial analysis including integrated three statement model, valuation and cash flow modellingPreparing of key documentation including Pitch Decks, Information Memorandums, Management Presentations, etcSupporting due diligence processes including client preparation and investor Q&ADevelop research and industry analysis with a focus on technology and internet in SE Asia and IndiaContribute to building an unrivalled CRM and tech-led project management platformKEY COMPETENCIES Outstanding academic credentials from top institutions with 1-4 years of relevant work experience after an undergraduate or graduate programStrong accounting and corporate finance knowledgeMethodical, meticulous and possess strong quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent communication, business writing and research skillsAbility to work well under pressure and tight deadlinesAbility to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a teamCommitted to excellence on assigned deliverables with high professional and ethical standardsFamiliarity with research databases and financial tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Tracxn, CB Insights, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, etc.)Strong preference is to hire candidates with prior working experience working in the technology sector with a mid-market investment bank, consulting firm or technology start-upCULTURE We love our work • a demonstrable passion for the technology and start-up spaceFounders are the centre of our universe • optimize for our main client (the founder) to builds long term relationships and trustWe reward action and energy • progress is made by making mistakes, become excited and energized to make a few as long you are in forward momentumGrowth is everything, personal and as a collective group • always ask what’s next and how can we make that 1% improvement on yesterdayWe are results focused; we are not interested in over engineering processes for a historical world that doesn’t existStrive to be better than the market, we are not playing catch up here our founders and investors don’t expect anything less.
