Role Overview The Team Lead will manage and drive a team of Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs) responsible for promoting Mutual Fund and investment products through digital and virtual channels.
The role focuses on driving Mutual Fund AUM growth, customer activation, digital engagement, and client retention through data-driven strategies and virtual relationship management.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, deep understanding of investment products, and proven experience in digital sales and wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs)
Drive AUM growth and digital revenue targets across investment products including:
Mutual Funds
PMS
ETFs
NFOs
AIFs
Set clear performance goals and conduct regular reviews
Develop training and mentorship programs focused on:
Virtual selling
Client engagement
Product knowledge
Relationship management
Build a collaborative and performance-driven culture
Ensure high-quality client servicing and issue resolution in a virtual environment
Implement customer feedback mechanisms to enhance client experience
Performance Management
Define and monitor KPIs related to:
Client acquisition
AUM growth
Revenue generation
Product penetration
Conduct regular coaching and one-on-one reviews with VRMs
Use data analytics to identify opportunities and improve team productivity
Participate in client calls and manage escalations for high-value clients
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines
Promote adoption of digital tools such as:
AI-driven chatbots
Digital advisory platforms
Automated campaigns
Digital Revenue Growth Strategy
Develop digital growth strategies in collaboration with marketing teams
Drive online customer acquisition and engagement initiatives
Design and execute digital AUM scaling strategies
Monitor digital sales trends and optimize revenue growth initiatives
Client Activation & Retention
Execute customer acquisition campaigns through:
Online consultations
Webinars
Virtual product demos
Ensure personalized client interactions and advisory support
Develop strategies to improve
Client retention
Engagement
Customer lifetime value
Data Analysis & Reporting
Monitor key business metrics including:
ARPU
ROI
Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV)
Engagement levels
Use analytics tools to evaluate campaign and team performance
Prepare MIS and performance reports for senior management
