Role Overview We are looking for a " Senior Financial Analyst II" to join our Finance team in Pune. In this role, you will drive efficiency by simplifying and standardizing FP&A processes , ensuring accurate reporting, and delivering actionable insights to business leaders. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to support strategic planning , budgeting, and forecasting, while also managing compliance and revenue recognition. Must Have skills: 1) End to end Financial Data Analysis • Dashboard creation using ( Power BI/Tableau/ any tool) 2) Profit & Loss (P&L) management and analysis 3) Reporting • Variance analysis, cost impact analysis, and sales analysis 4) Budgeting & Forecasting • Plan vs. actuals, forecast vs. plans 5) Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Important Note: We are seeking candidates preferably from manufacturing companies only. Profiles from IT or GCC setups will not be considered. Main Responsibilities Business Partnering with division leaders (end-to-end). Build Financial Models for business deals analyze risks and propose mitigation plans. Conduct moderate to complex Business & Financial Analysis . Support Strategic Planning , ad hoc reporting, and analysis for internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate closely with Sales and Leadership teams on Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting for business units. Perform Cost Analysis , product pricing, rebate calculations, and contract compliance checks. Draft and renew agreements for customers/distributors; collaborate with Regional Teams (IMEA) and Global Teams (US & Europe). Handle Revenue Recognition , sales reconciliation, and BI sales adjustments at month-end. Manage cost guarantee accruals for Food & Beverage customers. Hands-on with EPM & HFM ; perform publishing and ad hoc analysis on Oracle Essbase. Work on rebate provisions, prepaid advances schedules, and yearly Sales Planning . Develop scorecards, track district/SBU performance, and manage monthly reporting requirements. Support internal/statutory audits, resolving auditor queries. Requisites 8 years’ experience in FP&A and business partnering. Prior P&L Responsibility of at least $5Mn in a global organization preferred. MBA from a reputed institute strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of Power BI or other digital tools is an advantage. Strong team player with hands-on problem-solving skills and inclusive orientation. Proven success in multi-divisional, matrix organizations with strong Customer Focus . Excellent proficiency in English (verbal and written); additional languages a plus. Strong Executive Presence with presentation, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
