Senior Risk Analyst • Trading/Forex • 3+Years • Mohali We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to monitor and assess trading activity across forex, commodities, indices, and futures. The role will focus on trade surveillance, market risk analysis, exposure monitoring, identifying unusual trading patterns, and evidence-based risk assessments across trading accounts. Your Future Employer A growing financial services organization operating in the trading and market-risk ecosystem, with a focus on trading activity monitoring, risk controls, and data-driven assessment of trading behaviour. Responsibilities Monitoring trading accounts, positions, exposure, margin utilization, and overall trading behaviour across forex, commodities, indices, and futures. Reviewing trade histories to identify arbitrage, stale-price exploitation, coordinated trading, excessive risk-taking, and potential breaches of trading rules. Analysing trading performance, including position sizing, holding periods, profit distribution, and risk per trade idea. Investigating flagged accounts, preparing concise risk reports, and supporting findings with detailed trade-level evidence. Collaborating with dealing, operations, compliance, and technology teams to strengthen risk alerts, controls, and account-level risk assessment. Requirements Possessing 3–8 years of experience in dealing desk, trade surveillance, or market risk, preferably with an established broker, futures firm, or MCX-focused market participant. Demonstrating strong understanding of order execution, pricing, liquidity, leverage, margin, and market behaviour. Having hands-on experience analysing detailed trade histories and distinguishing legitimate trading strategies from abusive or unsustainable trading patterns. Demonstrating advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with MT4/MT5, futures trading platforms, or risk monitoring tools will be an advantage. Possessing strong analytical and written communication skills, with sound judgement and the ability to document risk findings clearly.
