Senior Equity Research Analyst - Capital Goods Sector

You will be working as a Sr. Equity Research Analyst in the Capital Goods sector for a boutique investment management firm with a focus on Indian equity investments. As a part of the team, your responsibilities will include: - Having 7-15 years of experience in equity research within Indian Markets, specializing in Mid/Large Cap & Capital Goods Sector. • Demonstrating a passion for investing in equity markets with a proactive approach and attention to detail using both top-down and bottom-up approaches. • Conducting Industry Analysis to grasp competitive forces, industry dynamics, etc. • Performing company analysis, including financial modeling, tracking quarterly/annual results, attending earning concalls, and conducting deep dives into annual reports. • Generating a funnel of new investment ideas within the Company's Investment framework. • Engaging with industry/sector experts, conducting channel checks, collaborating with sell-side analysts, and interacting with company managements. • Supporting the Investment Committee in decision-making processes related to investee companies and new investment opportunities. Qualifications required for this role: - Strong writing and articulation skills. • Proficiency in financial modeling. • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
