Purpose of the Job:
The primary purpose of this role is to analyze global and domestic commodity markets to generate actionable investment insights that support fund managers in making informed portfolio decisions.
The role aims to enhance investment performance by tracking commodity trends, evaluating macroeconomic and sector-specific drivers, and identifying opportunities and risks across commodity-linked assets.
Key responsibilities:
Track and analyse gold and silver markets, including price movements, demand-supply dynamics, and global trends.
Monitor key factors impacting precious metals such as interest rates, inflation, currency (USD), central bank policies, and geopolitical developments.
Generate insights and recommendations to support fund managers in decisions related to gold/silver ETFs and commodity-linked investments.
Maintain price trackers, build basic forecasting models, and analyse historical trends for gold and silver.
Prepare regular reports, market updates, and presentations on precious metals outlook for internal stakeholders.
Track volatility, correlations, and risks associated with gold and silver exposure in portfolios.
Provide timely alerts on events impacting precious metals (Fed decisions, inflation data, global uncertainties, etc.).

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related fieldMBA / CFA (completed or pursuing) preferred6-10 year of relevant experience in Commodity Research/Mutual FundCertificate or relevant experience in Data Analysis
