Experience Required 2–3 Years About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Mergers & Acquisitions Finance (M&A-Finance) team. The role will support end-to-end M&A activities including opportunity screening, target evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and post-signing transaction management. Key Responsibilities 1. M&A Deal Sourcing and Target Screening • Identify acquisition, merger, strategic investment, and partnership opportunities. • Conduct industry, market, and competitor research. • Build and maintain target pipelines. • Evaluate strategic fit, market positioning, financial performance, and synergy potential. 2. Financial Analysis and Valuation • Analyze financial statements and operating metrics. • Build financial models. • Perform DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transaction Analysis. • Assess synergies and value creation opportunities. 3. Financial Due Diligence • Participate in financial due diligence. • Review revenue quality, profitability, working capital, cash flows, debt, and tax exposures. • Coordinate with external advisors and identify transaction risks. • Perform inhouse DD for smaller value transaction 4. Transaction Execution Support • Support deal execution from evaluation through closing. • Coordinate with bankers, legal advisors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. • Prepare investment committee and board materials. 5. Signing-to-Closing Activities • Manage activities between signing and closing. • Track Conditions Precedent (CPs). • Coordinate regulatory approvals and compliance requirements. • Monitor interim business performance and transaction risks. 6. Research and Strategic Analysis • Conduct industry research and monitor M&A trends. • Prepare management presentations and strategic reports. Required Qualifications Education: • MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification. Experience: • 2–3 years in M&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Big 4 Deal Advisory, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Financial Consulting. Required Skills • Strong understanding of the M&A transaction lifecycle. • Knowledge of deal sourcing, target screening, financial due diligence, valuation, and financial modeling. • Strong financial statement analysis skills. • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to completed M&A transactions. • Experience working with investment bankers, legal advisors, or consultants. • Understanding of cross-border transactions and post-merger integration.
