Role Overview:
As an M&A Analyst at Monter, you will be involved in various aspects of deal execution, starting from identifying opportunities to supporting the process through to completion.
The focus will be on working across live deal situations to ensure successful transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source opportunities: Identify potential acquisition and fundraising situations through different channels, and develop a keen judgment on the timing, intent, and suitability of the opportunities.
• Build intelligence: Analyze businesses, evaluate risks, and form clear, decision-ready perspectives to support the deal-making process.
• Support execution: Track identified opportunities, assist in outreach activities, and facilitate the progression of discussions towards deal closure.
• Improve systems: Continuously refine sourcing strategies and internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness over time.
Qualifications Required:
- Curiosity & pattern recognition: Ability to discern connections from seemingly unrelated information.
• Commercial thinking: Focus on identifying practical opportunities that can lead to successful deals.
• Ownership mindset: Demonstrated inclination towards taking action, testing assumptions, and iterating to achieve desired outcomes.
