PURPOSEThe Senior Analyst Business Finance plays a critical role in supporting the Finance Business Partner teams
delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and operational supportensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standardswhilst pro-actively challenging the business and its financial performance.
This role will focus on analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial systems, and providing operational insights to assist in decision-making.
He/She must be looking to deliver efficiency gains through continuous work practice improvements, adopt and share best practices whenever applicable, and ensure scrupulous compliance to SITA policies, processes, and guidelines at all times.
The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and adherence to reporting standards.
This role requires working the afternoon shift (1:00 PM–10:00 PM) to enable effective collaboration with different time zones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWHAT YOU WILL DO
1.
Financial Ownership & Delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of financial reporting cycles (Flash, MFR, QBR, Forecasts) for assigned scopeEnsure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial outputs, including review and validation of Finance Analysts deliverablesDrive strong financial governance and control, ensuring alignment with IFRS, accounting policies, and internal controlsAct as the first level of escalation for financial issues, ensuring timely resolutionEnsure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and internal controls

Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
Deliver insightful financial analysis (variance, drivers, risks, opportunities) to support business decision-makingProvide clear, structured narratives for senior leadership consumptionPartner with S&I and Business Finance teams to ensure alignment on financial messaging and performance storyChallenge assumptions and proactively highlight performance risks and corrective actions

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
Lead forecasting and planning cycles for assigned scope (Monthly / Quarterly / Annual)Ensure robust driver-based analysis and forward-looking insightsSupport 3Y plan, portfolio planning, and financial scenario modellingDrive consistency in planning assumptions and frameworks across GEOs

Standardization & Automation
Lead initiatives to standardize reporting formats, processes, and data structures across other organizations.
Identify and drive automation opportunities (OneStream, Power BI, reporting tools) to reduce manual effortEnsure transition from manual reporting to scalable, analytics-driven solutionsPartner with IT/Data teams to industrialize reporting and improve data reliabilityEmbed global best practices and governance across GRA processes

Team Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building
Provide guidance and oversight to analysts within the teamReview, guide, and elevate quality of team outputsCoach team on:Financial storytellingAnalytical depthStructured reporting & governanceDrive documentation, SOPs, and backup ownership to reduce single-point dependencyFoster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted finance partner Prepare and present financial results, insights, and recommendations to leadershipBuild strong cross-functional relationships (S&I, Accounting, PFC, IT)7.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCETechnical & Functional
Strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, and analysis
Experience working in global or multi-region environmentsProficiency in financial systems, ERP tools, and reporting platforms (e.g., Onestream, ERP, Excel, BI tools)Leadership & Behavioural
Proven ability to work independently and lead without formal authorityStrong coaching and mentoring capabilityProactive mindset with strong ownership and accountabilityAbility to drive change and challenge legacy ways of workingAnalytical & Communication
Strong analytical thinking with ability to convert data into actionable insightsExcellent financial storytelling and executive presentation skillsAbility to simplify complex financial information into clear messages
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA / CPA preferred)Typically 8+ years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A in a global organization
Experience managing or mentoring teams in a matrix environment
