What role will you play in the team: As an Investment Banking Analyst specializing in M&A Advisory, your primary role involves supporting senior bankers in executing M&A transactions.
You'll be responsible for conducting industry research, building financial models, preparing pitch books, and assisting in the due diligence process.
What you will do: You will work on live M&A deals, performing valuation analyses, creating presentations, and managing data rooms.
Your contributions will directly impact the success of our M&A advisory services and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth industry research to identify potential M&A targets and acquirers.
Build and maintain complex financial models for valuation and deal structuring purposes.
Perform valuation analyses using various techniques, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
Prepare pitch books and other marketing materials to support business development efforts.
Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing financial and operational data.
Manage data rooms and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Support senior bankers in all aspects of M&A transactions, from origination to closing.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting M&A activity in India.
Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements within the M&A advisory team.
Required Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, and Dealogic.
Knowledge of M&A transaction processes and legal documentation.
