About the Intern (FP&A) role We're looking for a CA student seeking Industrial Training to join IDinsight's Finance team in New Delhi. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our FP&A team on real financial operations — not busywork. You'll get meaningful exposure to finance in a global, mission-driven organization, with the flexibility of a hybrid work setup. Responsibilities Track and maintain staff timesheet records; flag gaps or inconsistenciesPrepare monthly staff utilization reports to support resource planningSupport basic project financial tracking — monitoring spend, flagging variances, and keeping records up to dateMaintain and update the Funders and Awards database, ensuring data accuracy and completenessAssist with the organization's ERP transition, including data entry, testing, and coordination supportSupport the team on ad hoc reporting and finance tasks as needed Qualifications CA student eligible and seeking Industrial Training placementStrong attention to detail — especially with data entry and validationComfortable working in Excel or Google SheetsGood written and verbal communication in EnglishGenuine interest in global development and social impact Professional development Skill and career development are core to IDinsight's values and long-term impact strategy, and have been noted highlights of teammates’ experiences. Nuts & bolts Location This position is based in IDinsight’s Delhi, India office. This position is not eligible for remote work, or otherwise, from the United States. Preference will be given to those with pre-existing work authorization in these countries; however, IDInsight will seek work permits where possible for exceptional candidates. Start date The start date of this position is May’26, with preference for candidates that can start immediately. Compensation Compensation and benefits are commensurate with the qualifications and experiences IDinsight is hiring for, and competitive within the global development sector.
