Institutional Equities Research Associate

As an Equity Research Associate in the Institutional Equity Research department in Mumbai, you will be responsible for the following key tasks under the guidance of the Lead Analyst: - Collect secondary and primary data, build, and regularly update industry databases and perform industry analysis. • Prepare, maintain, and update databases across sub-sectors of Consumer Durables. • Compile financial data using various database platforms as per in-house research/client requirements. • Prepare financial statement forecasts for companies under coverage. • Assist in writing an equity research report detailing the industry outlook and the investment thesis on a particular stock or multiple stocks under coverage. • Prepare presentations for companies and equity markets. • Attend quarterly earnings conference calls and analyst meets of companies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Pursued CA / MBA - Finance, etc. • Exposure and interest in learning financial modeling and valuation techniques. • Work Experience of 1-2 Years in a similar profile in Institutional Equity Research is a MUST. • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word are a MUST.
