Location: Mangalore, India Reporting To: Group CFO About the Role Responsibilities The Fund Manager will oversee and manage the investment portfolio and financial affairs of the family office.
The role involves strategic asset al
location, investment evaluation, risk management, wealth preservation, and coordination with external advisors to achieve long-term financial objectives.
The portfolio has Indian and International components.
Investment Management
• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with family objectives
• Manage diversified portfolios across: - Equities, Fixed income, Real estate, Private equity, Venture capital, Alternative assets
• Monitor market trends and identify investment opportunities
• Conduct due diligence on investment proposals and fund managers Portfolio Monitoring
• Track portfolio performance and benchmark returns
• Prepare periodic investment reports and dashboards
• Rebalance portfolios based on market conditions and risk appetite Risk & Compliance
• Assess financial and operational risks
• Ensure regulatory and tax compliance
• Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, and tax consultants Wealth & Estate Planning
• Support succession planning and inter-generational wealth transfer
• Assist in trust structures and estate planning
• Manage liquidity and cash flow requirements Stakeholder Management
• Present investment recommendations to family principals
• Maintain relationships with banks, private equity firms, and advisors
• Coordinate philanthropic and strategic investment initiatives if required Preferred Qualifications
• MBA Finance / CA / CFA / CFP with 8–20 years experience in Wealth management Investment banking Private banking Asset management Family office operations Skills Required
