Our client is a high-growth Indian manufacturing group with diversified operations across multiple business verticals.
The organisation is currently on a strong expansion journey, with significant domestic scale, increasing international exposure, and a growing need for sophisticated corporate finance and banking coverage.
Job Description
Reporting to the CFO, the candidate will be responsible for leading the banking and corporate finance function across the group and its subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and strengthening relationships with banks, financial institutions and other lending partnersLeading debt fundraising initiatives across term loans, working capital and other structured borrowing requirement.
Will also include equity fund-raising/structuring assignments as and when required.
Work on International financing such as ECBs, Bonds Etc.
Coordinating with lenders for documentation, compliance, sanctions, renewals and drawdownsManaging credit rating processes and liaising with rating agenciesSupporting financing requirements across multiple group entities and subsidiariesEvaluating and executing domestic and overseas financing opportunitiesPartnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of banking and financing requirementsManaging a team and ensuring effective execution across corporate finance activitiesTravelling as required for business, lender and project-related requirements
The Successful Applicant
CA or MBA qualification with 10+ years of relevant experienceStrong experience in banking relationships, corporate finance, project finance or debt fundraisingPrior exposure to large corporate lending, structured debt, working capital and term loan arrangements
Experience coordinating with banks, financial institutions and credit rating agenciesAbility to manage documentation, compliance and lender processes independentlyPrior experience in heavy manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, EPC, industrials, oil & gas, banking or rating agencies preferredStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadershipComfort with domestic and overseas financing exposure would be an added advantage
