As a candidate for the role of Strategic Planning Manager at this company in Delhi, your primary responsibility will be to prepare a Strategic Plan covering liquidity quantum with options for raising equity/debt in the short/medium/long term, growth & future opportunities, and more.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving initiatives for fund raising in Corporate through raising of equity, debt, or divestment of stake in various subsidiaries
• Implementing strategic initiatives to reduce interest rates on existing loans and achieve the target laid down in the Annual Operating Plan for interest expenditure
• Improving the credit rating of loans and other debt instruments used for fund raising
• Implementing strategic funding initiatives such as Flexible structuring under 5/25 scheme, refinancing, or financing of regulatory receivables to achieve better terms on loans and continuous improvement in liquidity position
• Assessing and tying up Working Capital limits based on annual requirements to support plant operations
• Reducing/optimizing funding related costs such as penal charges, penal interest, rating fee, bank charges, etc.
• Managing relationships with lead banks and other lenders
• Supporting management decision making, policy initiatives, external reporting, and compliances through critical review of financial models, information sharing, data monitoring, and strategic inputs to the team
• Dealing with international and domestic lenders and other stakeholders, including key activities such as default management, restructuring, refinancing, managing key agencies, and other relevant initiatives
• Supporting in achieving Financial Investment Decision for projects
Additionally, the company deals with significant financial dimensions including Rupee Term Loans of more than Rs. 3200 crore, Working capital limits of Rs. 620 crore, International loans of US370 million, and Interest expense of Rs. 350 - 400 crore.
