Job description
You will be providing strong support to the Head of Global Credit Risk Management in maintaining and improving the group-wide sustainable credit risk management.
Your proactive approach will involve managing ABB's credit risks while staying updated on the latest developments in risks, risk metrics, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and provide fundamental analysis for credit risk approval documentation on large customers, high impact counterparties, partners, suppliers, financial institutions, sovereign/country credit risks, and industry risks.
• Support and coordinate credit risk-related activities under the leadership of the Team Leader of GCRM India Operations.
• Contribute to the annual review process for key customers, financial counterparties, key suppliers, and other counterparties.
• Identify ABB sales capacity and growth potential based on financial status and planned capital expenditures.
• Analyze credit risk on potential major deals during the pre-bid process, including research into regulatory frameworks.
• Assist in detailed country risk analysis and provide support for various stakeholders in responding to special requests.
• Review and analyze bank risk requests received via the GCRM web-based Credit Risk Platform for Banks (CRISP).
• Provide guidance to Country Credit Managers on credit risk matters, training, and guidelines.
• Support Country Credit Committees and Treasury organizations on credit-risk related matters, including potential travel to relevant countries.
• Ensure effective information sharing across the GCRM team, credit management community, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for presentations, data analytics, and statistics as requested by the Head of GCRM.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and upgrade of GCRM tools and processes.
• Collect and harmonize data from the credit management community and corporate functions to improve data quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as credit exposures, limits, past dues, and potential bad debt.
