Fund Manager GIFT City (Equity Strategies) Role Purpose The Equity Assistant Fund Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Fund Manager with the research, analysis, and management of equity investment portfolios.
This position is a stepping stone for aspiring fund managers and requires a strong work ethic, analytical mind, and passion for the financial markets.
Equity Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities across various sectors and industries.
This may involve analyzing company financials, regulatory filings, competitor landscape, and conducting interviews with management teams and industry experts.
Utilize fundamental and technical analysis techniques to evaluate potential risks and returns of various stocks.
Stay updated on current market trends, economic data, and news that could impact investment decisions.
Prepare insightful research reports and presentations to support the Fund Managers investment decisions.
Portfolio Management and Monitoring: Assist the Fund Manager in constructing and managing equity portfolios aligned with the funds investment objectives and risk tolerance.
Monitor portfolio performance, track key metrics, and identify any potential risks or opportunities.
Prepare regular reports for the Fund Manager and senior management on portfolio performance, holdings, and investment rationale.
Other Duties: Assist the Fund Manager with client presentations and communication.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Contribute to the teams research efforts and investment strategy discussions.
May participate in trade execution and order management activities.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, FRM, Masters Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Management, or equivalent qualification.
Experience 4 6 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Wealth Management, Family Office, Investment Advisory, or Offshore Fund Management.
Proven experience in equity research and portfolio management.
Strong understanding of global markets, offshore investment structures, and capital market products.
Experience interacting with institutional investors and investment committees preferred
