As a Financial Analyst at MiniMed, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's Diabetes business by performing financial modeling, economic research, and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing and analyzing financial modeling, economic research, trends, and studies such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget.
• Conducting variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning, and expense comparisons by analyzing profit and loss statements and/or income statements.
• Preparing reports of findings and recommendations, compiling and consolidating financial plans, and providing insights to management.
• Developing, maintaining, and establishing operational specifications for financial information systems.
• Providing analysis on business development and monitoring business performance by unit, division, or group.
In this role, you will be a recognized expert, managing large projects or processes with considerable autonomy in determining deliverables.
You may also act as a mentor to colleagues and delegate work to lower-level specialists.
Your work will contribute to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy.
Key Qualifications:
- Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices.
• Advanced education combined with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of project management.
