Finance Director India

Directly reporting to the subsidiary General Manager, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Finance and IT functions for our office in Kolkata, India. This role requires a strong international mindset, proven experience working in multinational environments, and the ability to operate across different time zones, cultures, and business practices. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate and timely monthly management reports, including P&L and balance sheetsOversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes, advising management on all financial mattersManage company tax reporting (direct and indirect), along with all other compliance including corporate filings etcEnsure effective and efficient business operationsOversee invoicing activities and the issuance of customer statementsManage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including related analysisManage risk, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with relevant legislationSupport cross-border financial coordination within an international corporate structureLead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence Requirements:Exceptional understanding and experience with Month End Financial reporting5+ years leadership in Finance rolesDeep knowledge of Ind ASDeep knowledge of GSTIndian statutory & tax complianceRelationship with local auditors and tax authoritiesFluent in English.
