We are looking for a Global Capital Markets professional focussed on Equity Capital Markets (ECM) to join our Global Center in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing deal execution support, conducting research and analytics, and providing internal process support to ECM globally. You will receive variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build knowledge of banking and capital markets sectors and products, and work with bankers in core locations. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally. What you’ll do in the role: Provide execution and analytical support to global Equity Capital Markets (ECM) origination and syndicate teams across equity and equity-linked transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, and convertible issuances •Support transaction execution by coordinating with deal team members, tracking deliverables, and managing workflows across key deal milestones •Conduct market, sector, and transaction analysis, including precedents, valuation benchmarks, pricing dynamics, and post-issuance performance tracking •Analyze client shareholder bases and ownership structures to support investor targeting strategies •Assist in investor targeting and market intelligence efforts by compiling shareholder analytics, trading data, and investor feedback •Prepare and update marketing and execution materials, including pitch books, transaction presentations, market updates, and internal documentation •Maintain and enhance ECM databases, dashboards, and recurring reports used by senior management and deal teams for pipeline tracking and market monitoring •Support roadshow preparation and execution, including wall-crossing processes, investor coordination, and post-deal reporting and analysis •Contribute to process improvement, automation, and technical initiatives aimed at improving data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of ECM workflows •Provide ad-hoc analytical and operational support to meet evolving business needs and ensure smooth execution across transactions What you’ll bring to the role: MBA / CA / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent •1 – 3 years of work experience in related field •Keen interest in corporate finance / equity capital markets •Written competency and spoken language fluency in English •Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams •Strong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial data •Agility and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment •Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn •Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations •Exceptional attention to detail, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Bloomberg and market data tools (Dealogic, LSEG) •Programming and coding experience / knowledge of AI tools is encouraged WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients • helping them reach their goals.
