We are looking for a Global Capital Markets professional focussed on Equity Capital Markets (ECM) to join our Global Center in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing deal execution support, conducting research and analytics, and providing internal process support to ECM globally. You will receive variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build knowledge of banking and capital markets sectors and products, and work with bankers in core locations. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally. What Youll Do In The RoleProvide execution and analytical support to global Equity Capital Markets (ECM) origination and syndicate teams across equity and equity-linked transactions, including IPOs, followon offerings, block trades, and convertible issuances Support transaction execution by coordinating with deal team members, tracking deliverables, and managing workflows across key deal milestonesConduct market, sector, and transaction analysis, including precedents, valuation benchmarks, pricing dynamics, and postissuance performance trackingAnalyze client shareholder bases and ownership structures to support investor targeting strategiesAssist in investor targeting and market intelligence efforts by compiling shareholder analytics, trading data, and investor feedbackPrepare and update marketing and execution materials, including pitch books, transaction presentations, market updates, and internal documentationMaintain and enhance ECM databases, dashboards, and recurring reports used by senior management and deal teams for pipeline tracking and market monitoringSupport roadshow preparation and execution, including wallcrossing processes, investor coordination, and postdeal reporting and analysisContribute to process improvement, automation, and technical initiatives aimed at improving data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of ECM workflowsProvide adhoc analytical and operational support to meet evolving business needs and ensure smooth execution across transactionsWhat Youll Bring To The RoleMBA / CA / Bachelors Degree or equivalent 1 3 years of work experience in related fieldKeen interest in corporate finance / equity capital marketsWritten competency and spoken language fluency in EnglishGood communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teamsStrong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial dataAgility and ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environmentTeam player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learnAbility to manage expectations and handle highpressure situationsExceptional attention to detail, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Bloomberg and market data tools (Dealogic, LSEG)Programming and coding experience / knowledge of AI tools is encouragedWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients helping them reach their goals.
