Role
Overview
AKMV
Consultants is looking to engage a Freelance Debt Financing Documentation
& Loan Processing Consultant to support the end-to-end documentation
and coordination process for corporate loan applications.
The primary
responsibility of this role will be to coordinate with clients and lenders,
manage documentation, track requirements, and ensure smooth and timely
processing of loan applications through to disbursement.
This role would
be ideal for a professional who has worked on multiple corporate loan /
business loan requests and is comfortable managing financial documentation
and coordinating with banks, NBFCs and corporate borrowers.
Key
Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end documentation process for
corporate loan applications.
Liaise with borrowers/clients to understand the
loan requirement and collect all necessary documents.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive document
checklists based on lender requirements.
Follow up with clients for pending financial,
corporate, legal and KYC documentation.
Review documents for completeness, accuracy and
consistency before submission to the lender.
Coordinate with existing funders, banks, NBFCs and
financial institutions throughout the loan processing cycle.
Track application status, documentation gaps,
queries and approvals.
Coordinate responses to lender
queries and ensure timely submission of additional information/documents.
Assist in coordinating financial, legal and
technical due diligence wherever applicable.
Maintain proper records of all documents,
submissions, approvals and correspondence.
Coordinate execution of sanction-related and loan
documentation, as required.
Follow up with all stakeholders to ensure timelines
are met and applications move smoothly towards closure/disbursement.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and
corporate information.
Ideal
Candidate Profile
3–4 years of relevant experience in loan
processing, debt financing, credit operations, corporate banking,
financial services or loan documentation.
Should have handled multiple corporate loan
applications/requests from documentation through processing.
Experience working with banks, NBFCs, financial
institutions or corporate finance teams.
Strong understanding of typical corporate loan
documentation and KYC requirements.
Ability to understand financial statements and
basic corporate/financial documents.
Good communication skills and ability to
independently coordinate with senior client representatives and lender
teams.
Strong Excel and documentation-management skills.
