Credit Analyst (SME, Corp)

We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our Mumbai-based team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience specifically in handling SME, corporate and business loans. This role is perfect for someone who has a deep understanding of credit analysis for unsecured SME loans and is seeking a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct a thorough analysis of banking statements 2. Carry out detailed analysis of GST returns 3. Provide recommendations based on the analysis and assessment of credit risk. 4. Develop and prepare assessment spreadsheets to support analysis of credit applications. 5. Support internal product and tech teams with automation opportunities Requirements and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce or other business-related fields. • Two to five years of strong MSME credit analysis experience in India (mainly banking + GST based) – experience of assessing larger MSMEs would be a plus. • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and general computer use. • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment. • Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data. • Excellent oral communication and reporting writing skills. • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and/or clients. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
