• Wholesale Credit Risk Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in wholesale credit risk to drive requirements, design, and delivery across risk transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate understands credit & lending lifecycles, credit risk modeling (PD/LGD/EAD), and regulatory frameworks (Basel III, CRR, PRA, EBA, ECB), and can translate complex risk and regulatory needs into pragmatic business and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Business Analysis & Requirements
Lead discovery, process walkthroughs, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder alignment.
Write clear BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
Conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and gap analysis for credit risk processes.
Wholesale Credit Risk & ModelingPartner with Risk, Finance, Credit, and Model Risk teams on PD/LGD/EAD data needs, governance, and usage.
Support model lifecycle workflows: development, validation, approval, implementation, monitoring, and backtesting.
Ensure clear articulation of model purpose, data lineage, and controls in line with policy.
Regulatory & Policy AlignmentInterpret requirements under Basel III/CRR, and local supervisor guidance (e.g., PRA/EBA/ECB) for credit risk capital, RWA, default definition, and IRB expectations.
Translate regulatory texts into actionable controls, processes, reports, and documentation.
Support regulatory reviews, audits, and remediation programs.
Systems, Data & ControlsWork with technology teams on credit risk rating systems, financial spreading tools, data sourcing, and integration.
Define data quality rules, control points, reconciliation, lineage, and metadata standards.
Specify and validate credit risk MI/BI and regulatory reporting requirements.
Change, Delivery & TestingDrive backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT planning/execution, and defect triage.
Develop test scenarios, data sets, and sign-offs aligned to control & compliance needs.
Track benefits, adoption, and operational readiness; contribute to playbooks and SOPs.
