Job description
As a Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Associate Manager at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for supervising entry to mid-level individual contributors in the Commercial Banking Portfolio (CIB) management functional area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring consistent credit execution aligned with required credit policies and processes
• Supporting and driving adoption of new credit policies and related changes
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
• Making day-to-day supervisory and tactical decisions
• Collaborating with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers in Commercial Banking Portfolio management
• Managing al
location of people and financial resources
• Mentoring and guiding talent development of direct reports
• Assisting in hiring talent
Qualifications Required:
- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio management experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Managing a team supporting regulatory reporting, validation, and reviews
• Demonstrating strong business knowledge in the lending domain
• Conducting periodic business reviews with key stakeholders
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and onshore team
• Contributing to talent hiring and training
• Responsible for team member engagement and career development
• Ensuring Operational Excellence, process improvement, and redesign
• Establishing early warning mechanisms through robust risk and opportunities process
• Increasing risk awareness across all team members
Additional Details:
- Post-Graduation in Finance/Management or equivalent
• Strong data-based decision-making and communication skills
• Good working knowledge in MS Office, advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, etc. is a plus
• Flexible to work across WFI locations and shift timings
• Certification in Campus MBA, Six Sigma are added advantages
