Job description

As an Associate Digital Asset Manager, your role will involve managing and administering digital assets such as CPG artwork, product shots, and brand images. Your responsibilities will include: - Organizing, storing, and retrieving media, managing digital rights and permissions, and ensuring accurate metadata. It is essential to have a strong understanding of digital asset management practices, metadata standards, and stakeholder management. • Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) checks on digital assets to ensure they meet brand guidelines, technical specifications, and are error-free before being ingested into the DAM system. This includes checking for duplicates, missing linked files, or corrupt versions. • Developing and maintaining metadata schemas and tagging systems to accurately describe and categorize digital assets, ensuring consistency and ease of searchability. • Reviewing, classifying, and organizing digital assets according to established guidelines to ensure easy accessibility and proper storage within the DAM system. • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather new assets, understand requirements, and ensure they meet set standards and DAM specifications. • Overseeing the integrity and security of digital assets within the DAM, ensuring proper data management practices, version control, and adherence to digital rights and permissions. • Effectively communicating QA findings, asset status, and DAM processes to team members and stakeholders to facilitate efficient use and management of digital assets. • Maintaining a meticulous level of accuracy and organization in managing digital assets, associated metadata, and QA documentation. Your profile should include: - Strong organizational skills to manage and catalog large volumes of diverse digital assets. • Technical proficiency in digital asset management (DAM) systems, various digital file formats, and their specifications. • Exceptional attention to detail to identify inconsistencies, errors, and deviations from standards in visual assets and metadata. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams, potentially training staff on DAM processes, and stakeholder management. • Proven quality assurance skills to conduct thorough checks on visual assets, identifying potential errors or inconsistencies related to file integrity, technical specifications, and brand guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a corporate enterprise environment, particularly with marketing or creative assets. • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices related to digital asset accessibility. • Familiarity with project management tools for tracking tasks and communicating progress. • Background or studies in Marketing, Design, Digital Advertising or Creatives, Artwork Production, or Printed Materials to understand visual assets and ensure quality standards are met.
