Asset Management - Equity Research European Financials - Associate

Job DescriptionYou will work closely with Portfolio Managers and the Senior Research analyst. The responsibility of this role is to cover a broad base of companies under the direction of the two aforementioned senior persons (including having financial forecasts, and managing interactions with both the company and sell-side analysts). Additionally, you will be providing timely macroeconomic, political and company insights. Job ResponsibilitiesTrack the companies within the European Financials. Create and utilize financial models for investment valuation. Technical excel and modelling skills are essential. Make relative value comparisons and assist the Senior Research analyst initiate coverageCollaborate and communicate with a global network of J.P. Morgan Asset Management analystFinding new investment ideas as well as thorough understanding, valuing and maintaining coverage on existing investmentRequired Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsPost graduate degree requiredShould have at least 2-5 years of relevant investment experience; with prior experience in Equity ResearchStrong analytical skill, measured investment judgement, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork and pro-active communication are mandatoryHighly motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to build up their knowledge base, performance track record and credibility within the team.
