Analyst, Treasury Reporting
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
Daily Group Cash Position Reporting
Prepare the daily Group cash position on a consolidated basis
Reconcile opening balances to the prior-day closing balance, including identification and tracking of reconciling items
Analyse and report daily movements, with breakdown by:
Currencies
Categories of payments (e.g. operating, financing, intercompany, exceptional)
Validate and report closing cash balances, ensuring consistency with bank statements and treasury systems
Group D+1 Cash Forecasting
Produce the Group D+1 cash forecast, including:
Opening balance
Expected daily movements
Closing balance by currency and payment category
Liaise with internal stakeholders and reference data sources to ensure forecast completeness and accuracy
Forecasting Accuracy & Variance Analysis
Perform forecast vs. actual analysis for D+1 cash forecasting
Identify, reconcile and explain deviations, including root-cause analysis (timing, classification, data quality, one-offs)
Maintain forecasting accuracy metrics and trend analysis for internal reporting
12-Week Rolling Cash Forecast
Support the preparation and maintenance of the 12-week rolling Group cash forecast
Assist in data consolidation, validation and consistency checks across entities and currencies
Support scenario analysis and ad-hoc liquidity requests from Group Treasury
Controls, Data Quality & Process Improvement
Ensure strong data quality, documentation and audit trail for all reports produced
Follow defined SOX and internal control requirements related to cash reporting and forecasting
Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, automation and standardisation
Support development of reporting tools and dashboards (e.g. SAP, Excel, Power BI)
COMPETENCIES
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
Structured and disciplined approach to daily recurring processes
Ability to handle tight deadlines in a time-sensitive reporting environment
Clear written communication skills, especially for explaining variances and exceptions
Team-oriented mindset with ability to operate in a global, remote setup
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field
1–3 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, FP&A or Financial Reporting
Strong Excel skills; experience with large datasets and reconciliations
Experience with SAP Treasury / Cash Management or similar systems is a strong advantage
Exposure to cash forecasting, liquidity reporting or management reporting preferred
OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
Willingness to work aligned with European business hours for daily deliverables
High level of integrity, confidentiality and control awareness
