Who we are looking for Global Delivery is a critical part of the business operations at State Street. Functionally, we are the backbone and nerve center supporting the entire investment servicing lifecycle across our key asset classes • Asset Management, Asset Owners, Insurance, Alternatives and Official Institutions and a wide spectrum of investment servicing products. Global Delivery India is an integral part of our global operations delivering Custody, Accounting, Fund Administration, Alternatives, Middle office, Transfer agency and On-boarding services across multiple client segments, investment structures and domiciles. We are looking to hire for Global Delivery Alternative Investment Services Recon & Platform Migrations, India • Managing Director, a part of the Global Delivery India management team and the Global Alternative Investment Services leadership team. The role would be based in Chennai or Coimbatore. What you will be responsible for Critical business priorities: Providing leadership expertise and oversight of the operations of Alternatives recon function as well as run platform migrations for different Alternative segmentsProven track record in leading a diverse group of resources and driving operational excellenceEnsure consistency across policy, standards, process and procedure​​​​​​​Provide partnership with our stakeholders, support and assurance to enable effective deliveryImprove quality of service delivery within the business, control environment and productivity​​​​​​​Drive continuous improvement through innovation / best practices and ensure complianceEvolve the operating model to drive scalability & client centricity, best in class operations with leading industry standardsEffectively partner with IT and Client side of the organizationChange agent mentality with the business acumen to interact with senior business stakeholders across the global organization possessing the ability to offer creative solutions to meet all party requirements Role Definition: Good understanding of Fund Admin life cycle and the multiple internal and external dependencies required to successfully manage the client deliveryExposure to end-to-end Fund Accounting & Admin, Custody and Middle Office Operations, Risk Oversight and acumen to transformResponsible for oversight of platform migrations, operating model changes and drive process improvementsDrive continuous improvement: productivity, quality, and Risk ExcellenceAct as leadership level escalation point for operational issuesIdentify and develop opportunities for transformation and capacity creation. Drive productivity and operational effectivenessManage the senior leadership team and oversee all operational resolutionsStrive for cutting-edge solutions, that are resilient and scalableAddress custom client requests, manage production activities • VPs, AVPs and officer teams What we value At Managing Director (MD) level we require senior leadership and advanced skills in areas such as: Navigate a large, global organization. To serve as a role model of acceptance and flexibility in dealing with colleagues with varying backgrounds. The candidate for the role will possess and/or be able to demonstrate: Over 15 years' of experience running operations within financial services and deeper expertise on Fund accounting, middle office and custody functions across all Alts segmentsUnderstanding of industry practices and operating models around reconsEnterprise leadership skills managing client service delivery and business growth. Experience interfacing at a senior level with clients, service providers and regulators.
